Four skint guys writing Hard Fast Melodic Punk Rock and touring even harder in a big burgundy ford transit called 'SEX PIG'.
Originally formed in South Wales back in 2004 and currently on haitus following their last UK show with A Wilhelm Scream in their hometown of Bridgend in May 2010.
Dan (Bass) & Josh (Drums) have been the mainstay of the band since day one. In 2008 they were joined by guitarists Fox from the band The Disappointments and Josua from German band Daily Reason, both left early in 2010 prior to the band embarking on their planned European dates. Original vocalist Callum left the band at the end of 2009 to travel Australia.
There are plans within the band to recruit a new guitarist for US dates later in the year & we will announce details as soon as we recieve them.
THE TOURING MONSTER...
Between 2006 & 2010 A New Day toured and built up a hardcore following of fans in England, Scotland, France, Belgium, Switzerland, Austria, Slovenia, Croatia, Holland, Germany, Sweden and Denmark sharing stages with some incredible bands including Propagandhi (US), A Wilhelm Scream (US), This is a Standoff (CAN), Polar Bear Club (US), Ruiner (US), Strung Out (US), Giving Chase (US), Stand Fast (DE), Fast Motion (F), Rejects United (P), The Casualties (UK), Kris Roe from The Ataris (US), Leftover Crack (US), Tribute to Nothing (UK), Crazy Arm (UK), The Cut Ups (UK), Bangers (UK), Rentokill (A), The Arteries (UK), MC Lars and loads more.
Amazingly, A New Day booked 95% of their shows across Europe themselves, through a network of like minded DIY punk kids and friends they have made during past tours.
In 2010 the band had tours booked across Europe, Scandinavia and into Russia, Turkey, Greece & Portugal for the first time, the dates were unfortunately cancelled at the last minute due to transport issues. They have plans for a tour of the US and Canada at the end of 2010.

Only 200 copies were available in Europe, with 100 copies distributed in the US by Jump Start Records, all of which sold out at Fest.
A New Day's debut album was to be recorded early in 2010 and jointly released by Lockjaw Records and Seven Records in the UK & Ascard Records in Europe. Due to the bands current haitus the album sessions have been cancelled.
